Created for lighting and scenic designers, programmers, and videographers, coolux college provides participants with basic instruction on all elements of coolux media systems: From programming tools like Media Manager’s real-time editing to creating custom user-interfaces with Widget Designer. To ensure focused hands-on training, class size is limited to two participants per machine at a total of four participants; therefore, pre-registration is necessary.

Day 1: Basic Training
An introduction to coolux and various Pandoras Box products. Participants learn how to build and save projects, create and program sequences using clip containers and keys, and run a show using cues. Understanding content management, folder structures, and different layer functions and structures will also be covered. The day concludes with setup and use of live camera inputs. |
Day 2: Basic Training Continued
Troubleshooting common errors, external control protocols, patching content and output layers to be controlled via ArtNet and DMX. Cover working in a 3D environment, multiple screen setups, more timeline programming, adding FX to clips and keystone and softedge blending outputs. A basic introduction to Widget Designer Standard and Pandoras Box Warper is included. |
